Kwali Local Government Area (LGA), created on October 1, 1996, by the military administration of General Sani Abacha, with its headquarters in the town of Kwali [1]. It comprises several towns and villages such as Wako, Yangoji, Kundu, Kwali, Gumbo, Ashara, Kwali, Pai, and Kilankwa[2]. Covering an area of 1,241 km², the LGA had a population of 86,174 in 2006, projected to grow to 188,000by 2022, with a density of 151.5/km² [3].
