Bwari Local Government Area (LGA), was created in the year 1991 with its headquarters in the town of Bwari and the LGA consists of a number of towns and villages which includes Ushafa, Zango, Sabon Gari, Panda, Jigo, Bunko, Duba, and Kikumi [1]. Covering an area of 1,031 km², the LGA had a population of 229,274 in 2006, projected to grow to 500,100by 2022, with a density of 485.1/km² [2]. Majority of the area’s dwellers are from the Gbagyi and the Hausa tribal groups. The Esu Bwari is the traditional administrator of the Gbagyi populace while the Emir of Bwari who superintends over the Bwari Emirate is the leader of the Hausa population. A number of crops are cultivated in Bwari LGA such as cucumbers, potatoes and yam. Trade also contributes immensely to the economic growth of Bwari LGA with the area hosting several markets such as the Bwari main market.
