headquarters in Bali Town, is part of the Taraba Central Senatorial District in
Taraba State, Nigeria. The LGA was established in 1976 and spans 9,716 square kilometres,
making it one of the largest in the state. It had a population of 211,024 in
2006, projected to be around 332,000 in 2022, giving it a density of 32 people
per square kilometres.
