Bodinga Local Government Area is situated in Sokoto South Senatorial District and was originally established by Abdullahi dan Fodio in 1809[1]. The headquarters of Bodinga LGA is in the town of Bodinga and includes towns and villages such as Dingyadi, Badawa, Sifawa, Lukuyawa, Toma, Garko, Tulluwa, and Bindiri. Hausa and Fufulde are the widely spoken languages, and the majority of the population comprises members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups [2]. Bodinga LGA spans an area of 694.1 km².
