Oluyole Local Government Area (LGA), with headquarters in Idi-Ayunre , is located in the Central Senatorial District, Oyo State, Nigeria. It was created in 1976 and covers an area of 660 km². The LGA has a population of 202,725 according to the 2006 census, with a projected population of 290,800 in 2022 , giving it a population density of 440.6 people per square kilometer. Agriculture, particularly farming and livestock production, is the dominant economic activity in the area. Oluyole is also home to Lead City University. , a notable private university.
