Irepodun Local Government Area (LGA), headquartered in Ilobu, is part of the Osun Central Senatorial District in Osun State, Nigeria. Established in 1976, Irepodun spans 8.996 square kilometers and had a population of 119,497 (2006 census), projected to be 155,200 in 2022, resulting in a population density of 17,251 people per square kilometer.  

The economy of Irepodun is driven by agriculture, trade, and commerce. Notably, it is home to Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
