Ilesha East Local Government Area (LGA), with its headquarters in Iyemogun in the city of Ilesa, is part of the Osun East Senatorial District in Osun State, Nigeria.  Ilesha East spans 63.38 square kilometers. The LGA had a population of 106,586 (2006 census), projected to be 136,800 in 2022, resulting in a population density of 2,158 people per square kilometer.   The economy of Ilesha East is based on agriculture, trade, and commerce.
