Ila LGA, Osun State

Ila Local Government Area (LGA), with its headquarters in Ila Orangun, is situated in the Osun Central Senatorial District of Osun State, Nigeria. Established in 1976, Ila spans an area of 284.6 square kilometers and has a population of 62,049 (2006 census), projected to be 80,600 in 2022, with a population density of 283.2 people per square kilometer.

The economy of Ila is driven by sawmilling, carpentry, blacksmithing, welding, and other commercial activities.
