Ose L.G.A Of ONDO State

Ose LGA has its headquarters in Ifon[1], which is located in the northern part of Ondo State. It spans an area of 1,465 square kilometers and had a population of 144,019 in the 2006 census, projected to grow to 227,200 by 2022[2], yielding a population density of 155 people per square kilometer. 

Agriculture dominates the economy, with yam, maize, and melon as key crops. Ose is also rich in mineral resources such as granite, which has potential for mining activities. The people of Ose are predominantly celebrating festivals like the Oro and Ogun Festivals. Ifon serves as an administrative and cultural hub for the area.
