Ondo East, headquartered in Bolorunduro[1], is one of the smaller LGAs in Ondo State. Covering 896 square kilometers, the LGA had a population of 76,096 in 2006, projected to grow to 119,900 by 2022[2], resulting in a population density of 133.9 people per square kilometer. The local economy is primarily agricultural, with cassava, maize, and yam being the major crops. Ondo East also benefits from its proximity to Ondo West, leveraging the shared infrastructure and markets.
