Odigbo L.G.A Of ONDO State

Odigbo LGA, with its headquarters in Ore[1], is one of the most economically active areas in Ondo State. Covering an area of 1,800 square kilometers[2], the LGA had a population of 230,351 in 2006[3], projected to grow to 363,200 by 2022, resulting in a density of 201.8 people per square kilometer.  Odigbo belongs to the Ondo South Senatorial District[4].

Odigbo is a major agricultural hub, with palm oil plantations, cocoa farms, and cassava cultivation being central to its economy. Ore, the administrative center, is also an important commercial town in Ondo State, with its strategic location along major highways connecting different parts of Nigeria. 

The people of Odigbo celebrate traditional events like the Ijesu Festival. The area's natural and human resources contribute to its status as an economic powerhouse in Ondo State.
