Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area (LGA), with its administrative headquarters in Ajegunle, is located in the Badagry Division of Lagos State and falls within the Lagos West Senatorial District. It was established on October 1, 1976.

Covering an area of just 12.49 square kilometres, Ajeromi-Ifelodun has a population of approximately 1,017,500 people as of 2022 projections, reflecting a striking population density of about 81,460 people per square kilometre.
