Ilorin East Local Government Area (LGA), established in 1991 from the former Ilorin LGA, is part of the Kwara Central Senatorial District, with its administrative headquarters in Oke-Oyi[1]. The LGA comprises towns and districts such as Temidire, Badari, Ibagun, Adwole, Baboko, and Oke-Oyi[2]. It covers a land area of 473.7 km², with a population of 207,462 in 2006, projected to grow to 311,500 by 2022, giving a density of 657.6/km² [3].
