Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area lies within the Akwa Ibom North-East senatorial district, with headquarters at Nung Udoe and coordinates 4°46′0″N 7°57′0″E. It comprises the Ibesikpo and Asutan clans and is home to significant landmarks, including the Lutheran Church National Headquarters, Seminary, and Lutheran High School, all located at Obot Idim.
