Adavi local government area with its headquarters at Ogaminana in Kogi Central Senatorial District, Adavi LGA consists of towns and villages such as Ebogogo, Edegu, Atami, Adonukoko, and Idakura. Created on the 27th of August 1991, with an area of 731.9 km² Adavi LGA has a population of 217,219 as of the 2006 census, and was projected to reach 292,800in 2022 with a density of 400.1/km².[1] Adavi LGA is home to the popular Ebe Festival and the area features notable landmarks such as the Oboronyi hills in Oganinama, and the Ahucheba spring water in Oniyeka.
