Dandi Local Government Area (LGA) shares borders with the Republic of Niger, Bunza LGA, and the Republic of Benin. The Administrative headquarters of the LGA is situated in the town of Kamba. The Dendi people, an ethnic subgroup of the Zarm-Songhai, comprise the majority of the population. The Zaro festival and the Kamba fishing festival are significant cultural events within the area.
