Ungogo Local Government Area (LGA), located in the northern part of Kano State within the Kano Central Senatorial District, serves as a bustling and dynamic part of Nigeria. Established in 1991, its administrative center is Ungogo Town, positioned north of Kano City. Covering an area of approximately 214.5 square kilometers, Ungogo has experienced notable population growth, rising from 365,737 as per the 2006 census to an estimated 601,500 in 2022.
