Fagge Local Government Area (LGA) is located within the Kano Central Senatorial District of Kano State, Nigeria, with its headquarters in Fagge Town. Established in 1996, Fagge is one of the most densely populated LGAs due to its position within the Kano metropolitan area. The area also contains a few rural settlements such as Kwacirin Dikko and Kwacirin Jobe, providing a contrast to the highly active Sabon Gari area covering approximately 35.27 square kilometers, it had a population of 200,095 according to the 2006 census, which grew significantly to an estimated 329,100 by 2022.The economy of Fagge LGA is primarily driven by trade and commerce.
