Bebeji Local Government Area (LGA) is situated in the southern part of Kano State, Nigeria, within the Kano South Senatorial District. The local government was created in 1990, the administrative headquarters is located in the town of Bebeji. Bebeji LGA covers an area of approximately 718.6 square kilometers, it includes towns like villages including Kofa, Gargai, Baguda, Duramawa, Kuki, Yakun, Yanshere, and Damau.According to the 2006 census, Bebeji had a population of 191,916.
