Hadejia Local Government Area (LGA) is located in Jigawa North-East Senatorial District, with its headquarters in the town of Hadejia. The town lies between latitude 12.4506°N and longitude 10.0404°E . Hadejia shares boundaries with Kiri Kasama LGA to the east, Mallam Maɗori LGA to the north, and Auyo LGA to the west . Several towns and villages make up Hadejia LGA, including Dabantu, Garko, Gazulmari, Makwalla, Kofar Arewa, Kofar Gabar, Majema, and Rumfa . The area spans a landmass of 27.31 km² and had a population of 104,286 at the 2006 census, projected to reach 179,300 by 2022, with a density of 6,565/km² .
