Auyo L.G.A Of JIGAWA State

Auyo Local Government Area is located in Jigawa North-East Senatorial District, with its headquarters in the town of Auyo. The LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Adaha, Ayama, Gatafa, Safa, Babba, Bebur, Burukum, Insharuwa, and Birnin Kudu . Auyo LGA spans an area of 386.3 km² and had a population of 132,268 at the 2006 census, projected to increase to 227,400 by 2022, with a population density of 588.7 people per km²  .
