Orsu L.G.A Of IMO State

Orsu Local Government Area is located in Imo State, South-east geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Orsu LGA shares borders with Oguta and Orlu LGAs within Imo State and also adjoins areas in Anambra State. According to the 2006 census, the population was 120,224, with an estimated 167,100 residents by 2022. The area covers 65.51 km². Farming activities, including yam, cassava, and cocoyam cultivation, play a significant role in the local economy, along with trade.
