Ezinihitte L.G.A Of IMO State

Ezinihitte Mbaise s a local government in Imo state and has its headquarters at Itu. It became an independent LGA in 1989 and was separated from the Aboh Mbaise LGA. It is amongst the local governments that make up Imo East senatorial zone. It spans a landmass of 113.7 km² and had a population of 168,767 in the 2006 census, projected to increase to 234,600 by 2022. Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA economy is agrarian, cultivating crops like yam, oil palm, and cassava.
