Warri North  is a Local Government Area in Delta State, it is under the Delta South Senatorial District and has headquarters In Koko town. Warri North had a population of 136,149 (2006) and has a projection to reach 186,600 (2022). With population density of 84.83/km2, Warri North covers an area of 2,200 km2. Warri North is mostly riverine and inhabitants are mostly fishermen. Due to the large deposit of crude oil in Warri North, it  houses the Nigeria National Petroleum Company, Chevron and Nigeria’s first floating market.
