Chibok Local Government Area (LGA), with its headquarters in Chibok town, is situated within the Borno South Senatorial District of Borno State, Nigeria. Created in 1976, it covers an area of 1,350 square kilometres and had a population of 66,105 (2006 census), which increased to about 102,300 by 2022, giving a density of 76 people per square kilometre.
