Nembe L.G.A Of BAYELSA State

Nembe Local Government Area is located in Bayelsa State, Nigeria, and serves as one of the state's key communities. Its headquarters is in the town of Nembe, situated in the eastern part of the area, at coordinates 4°32′22″N 6°24′01″E. The LGA is part of the Bayelsa East Senatorial District.

Nembe had a population of 130,966 in 2006, with a projected increase to 195,000 by 2022. The LGA spans 809.7 square kilometres, resulting in a population density of approximately 240.8 people per square kilometre . Its postal code is 562102.
